'Northwind' is an excellent Switch Grass that will lend its self to most garden styles where it will form clumps of upright, metallic blue-green foliage which matures to yellow in autumn. Leaf tips turn burgundy in autumn. Tall flower stems bear clusters of tiny purple-pink flowers during late summer and early autumn.
