Hamamelis 'Arnold Promise' commonly known as Witch Hazel, is a large deciduous shrub of open habit. Spidery, yellow flowers are extremely frost-resistant and highly fragrant, and appear from mid- to late winter. After the flowers, large green leaves open that turn vibrant shades of yellow and orange in the autumn. This is a lovely shrub for the woodland garden or as a specimen in the shrub border.
