Grillstream system
Grillstream barbeques come with the patented Grillstream system, a unique dual grill that captures fat, preventing flare-ups, resulting in healthier food and more flavour.
First launched via Dragon's Den in 2009, the Grillstream system eliminates the traditional barbeque issue of 'flare-ups', where fat and juices drip down through the grill onto the burner or coals. This causes irregular cooking, burnt food and tarnished flavour. The Grillstream's dual grill captures the fat and juices and channels them into the collection tray. This prevents flare-ups and enhances the flavour as some of the juice evaporates when moving along the grill, basting the meat and keeping it moist. Any excess fat or juices reach the collection cup at the side of the grill, ready to be disposed of once cooled. This makes the Grillstream system easier to clean than a regular barbeque, another added bonus!
Hybrid system
Grillstream barbeques now include their revolutionary hybrid system, the convenience of gas with the option for charcoal all in one barbeque.
Through this great system, you get the option to cook with either fuel source depending on your preference at the time, or a combination of both together. Plus, if you're cooking with charcoal, you have the perfect method for lighting your charcoal built into the BBQ. There’s no need for lighter fluid or paraffin cubes – great news as these can taint the flavour of anything you cook over the coals – simply light the gas burners and wait for 15 minutes, turn the gas off for 15 minutes and then the charcoal will have a white glow and be ready to cook on.
