Wooden Ladybird House
This basic box with pure materials offers ladybirds a good place to nest in and to maintain or re-establish populations of these insects in an area. The four horizontal openings on either side allow ladybirds to fly in easily, providing shelter and shelter. It also keeps out many competitors and predators.
Ladybirds are very useful guests in the garden besides being a joy to watch. An adult ladybird eats up to 100 aphids a day. Ladybirds often overwinter in a group together. To make ladybirds completely comfortable, it is advisable to put some loose leaves or a roll of corrugated cardboard inside.
