Selenicereus anthonyanus
Selenicereus anthonyanus, also known as the Rick Rack Cactus or Fishbone Cactus, is a striking epiphytic cactus native to Mexico. This species is known for its unique, zigzag-shaped stems and beautiful white or cream-coloured flowers that bloom at night, adding a touch of elegance to any indoor plant collection.
Key Characteristics:
- Growth Form: It has long, arching stems that grow in a zigzag or fishbone pattern, making it a fascinating and decorative plant for hanging baskets or as a trailing plant in elevated containers
- Flowers: The flowers of Selenicereus anthonyanus are large, white to cream, and fragrant, blooming in the evening and often opening fully at night. The blooms are ephemeral, typically lasting only a day or two
