Polygonatum verticillatum 'Rubrum'
Polygonatum verticillatum is a reliable shade loving perennial, grown for its long arching stems bearing nodding pale, dusty pink bell-type flowers in late spring. This dainty polygonatum has attractive, spear shaped foliage, along with ornamental red berries in the autumn. Afterwards, this perennial dies back to ground level in the late autumn/early winter time, and then produces fresh new growth in the spring.
