Macleaya microcarpa 'Kelway's Coral Plume'
This eye-catching herbaceous perennial works beautifully in any sunny border or bed. With its height, it is best suited to the rear of your border or bed, and acts as a great backdrop too. In summer months, hues of coral-pink on tiny plumes of flowers that add a cloud of dreamy colour. Its stiff, strong stems shouldn't need staking if they are well sheltered from wind, and produce lovely gray-green foliage. Remove unwanted growth in spring to prevent spreading, as this plant is very fast-growing after its first year.
