Hydrangea Flair & Flavours® 'Blackcurrant Muffin'
'Blackcurrant Muffin' is a hardy and very floriferous Hydrangea with strong branches and beautiful full mophead flowers of a stunning purple-blue colour. Prune old flowers in spring. The fantastic Hydrangea ‘Flair and Flavours’® range consists of several wonderful varieties of Hydrangea that earn their place in the garden due to their sweet coloured flowers and unique quality of flowering every year throughout the summer on new and existing branches – hence the term, “Reblooming Hydrangea”.
This variety has blue blooms but if you have alkaline soil, they will turn pink. To keep them blue, you can get our Westland Hydrangea colourant. Just add this to the soil to retain the blue blooms or alternatively plant them into a patio pot using ericaceous compost
