Gooseberry Invicta ®
Description: One of the most popular Gooseberry varieties. Heavy crops of sweet berries, pale green in colour, are produced over the growing period with a good resistance to mildew.
History: Bred in Kent around 1967. Recieved an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Gooseberry Growing Tips: Very easy to grow, tolerant of many soil conditions except waterlogged. Prefers a sunny spot for maximum production. Benefits from netting to deter birds.
