Gaillardia aristata 'Spintop Red'
Also known as 'Blanket Flowers' as they originally 'blanketed' the North American prairies with their blooms; Gaillardia aristata are a valuable addition to beds and borders, particularly those that suffer from poor,dry soil as they are drought tolerant once established. The 'Spintop' series is a particularly compact selection meaning these varieties are also great in pots and containers. With a fantastic long flowering period, 'Spintop Red' will bring bright, vibrant colour to your garden or terrace all summer long.
