Epimedium 'Totnes Turbo'
'Totnes Turbo' is a unique form of medium-sized, hybrid Epimedium. First created by Julian Sutton, hence the name, who crossed the Epimedium Latisepalum and the Epimedium Colchicum. 'Totnes Turbo' is one of the earlier flowering varieties, and produces curled, white flowers with a second layer of lemon-yellow petals, that delightfully dangle on thin arching stems, bringing an elegant spring display to beds and borders.
This evergreen is stunning all year round, with serrated, heart-shaped foliage, which is mottled red and burgundy in spring, before maturing to bright green in the summer. 'Totnes Turbo' makes a brilliant addition to a partially shady spot in need of some colour and ground cover. Cut back in January to encourage new, further flowering.
