Epimedium 'Spine Tingler'
'Spine Tingler' is a unique form of clump-forming compact hybrid Epimedium. First discovered on a cliffside in Sichuan, China in 2008 by plant collector and breeder Darrell Probst. 'Spine Tingler' produces curled, spider-shaped pale yellow flowers, that hang on delicately arching stems, bringing an elegant spring display to beds and borders. This evergreen is stunning all year round, with serrated, heart-shaped foliage, which is mottled red and burgundy in spring, before maturing to bright green in the summer. 'Spine Tingler' makes a brilliant addition to a partially shady spot in need of some colour and ground cover. Cut back in January to encourage new, further flowering.
