Corylus avellana 'Red Majestic' ®
'Red Majestic' is a beautiful unusual variety with distinctive 'corkscrew' branches which bear long purple catkins in late winter and early spring. Deep plum-purple foliage in early summer, becoming green-tinted as the leaves mature, then bright purple in autumn, before falling to reveal the corkscrew branches.
