Cornus controversa 'Variegata'
Known as the wedding-cake tree, because of its distinctive, horizontal, tiered habit, this tree, large shrub, makes a lovely focal point for a small to medium-sized garden. It has bright green leaves with bold, creamy-white margins, which turn red-purple in autumn. Creamy white clusters of flowers appear in May-June followed by blue/black fruit that create additional seasonal interest. A spectacular tree that gets better with age.
