Convallaria majalis
The Lily of the Valley or May bells (Convallaria majalis) is a perennial that can grow to 30cm high, and that occurs in the wild in forested areas. It grows from a spreading underground stem (rhizome).
The flower is white and bell-shaped, with a wonderful fragrance.
