Cerinthe major Purpurascens
An early flowering annual with lovely silver, curving hoods and deep purple bells, hanging like droplets below. It's superb as a garden plant and as a cut flower if you sear the stem ends in boiling water for 10 seconds. The bees and butterflies also love it. Self-sows.
