Akebia quinata - or Chocolate Vine - is a vigorous, semi-evergreen climbing shrub, suited to warmer gardens to allow it to grow to full potential.In the cream form the scented and unusually shaped cream flowers appear in spring, and if cross-pollinated are followed by large, long fruit hanging from the stems.
