Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sun. Protect from intense midday sun to prevent leaf scorch.
Water: Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, especially in cooler months, to avoid root rot.
Soil/Nutrition: Requires well-draining, gritty succulent or cactus mix. Feed with a diluted cactus fertilizer once in spring and summer.
Humidity: Adapted to dry conditions and does not require additional humidity.
Pruning and Propagation: Remove any shriveled or damaged leaves. Propagate easily from leaf cuttings, allowing them to callous before planting.
